Just like I celebrated my 4th runniversary last week, today is another milestone.
My blog is celebrating it’s fourth birthday!
I decided to start this blog back when I first started running to keep my family and friends updated on my training as I was fundraising. I had zero idea that there was a “blogging community” out there full of running bloggers who I may meet someday and be inspired by on a daily basis. I just simply wanted a place to keep track of my progress, so runner’s rambles was born!
But over the last 4 years runner’s rambles has turned into a lot more than that. This blog has 4 wonderful years of memories all written down that I still look back on all the time. From my first double digit run ever, to my first marathon, to my BQ, and now training for my first ultra-marathon… it’s all documented here. I am SO glad that I decided to start blogging right when I started running.
Every single mile that my many running shoes have taken me on, every emotion that I have gone through during each and every mile… it is all here, captured on this little blog.
And more importantly, I have met so many friends all over the country through blogging and been given so many amazing opportunities, I don’t even know where to begin to put it all into words.
But in the least, I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for reading, thank you for encouraging me, thank you for cheering for me and thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for being a part of my life.
Happy birthday little blog!
If you’re a blogger, do you celebrate when you first started blogging? How long have you had a blog?

Happy blog birthday! I think it’s wonderful that you started blogging and running at nearly the same time. My little blog is just a year old, and I wish I had four years worth of things documented! Thank you for what a big part you’ve played in our running blogger community. You’ve connected so many of us to each other, and I know we’re all grateful for it!
Awww! Happy blogiversary! Big #4! It’s so great to be able to look back on the past and read what you’ve written, I have that for races but not so much for everything else and really wish I had been doing this all along! Congrats!
Happy Blog-Anniversary!

Happy Blogger-versary!
yay for blogging!
Happy Birthday, blog. Love to read you!
I’ve been blogging for 4 1/2 years. Can’t believe it’s been so long! I don’t usually do anything for my blog anniversary. I think I’ve forgotten about it a few times. Love reading about your training, Aron.
SO HAPPY you started blogging so we could become friends!
Happy blogiversary! I just started my blog in Sept, but like you, I was totally unaware of how big, friendly, supportive, motivating, and plain awesome the blogging community is! I love it!
Happy birthday RR!
I’m glad I found your spot on the internet- you’re definitely a motivator!
I don’t celebrate my blogiversary…maybe next year I will. I’ve been blogging since 2004 – so maybe it is time to throw my blog a party
Happy birthday, blog! I’m glad you started it too or I would have never met you!
I just started my blog last month! It was scary putting it out there, but I’m glad I did. This year my goal is to run 12 races for 12 non-profits, and hopefully raise lots of $$ for each, but at the very least bring awareness to these amazing organizations. Plus I’ll get to babble about running everday! Happy blog birthday to you
You have been a great source of motivation and inspiration!
Happy 4th Birthday, Blog!
I have loved following along and will continue to do so!
My blog started as something else entirely, that I am not exactly proud of (diet blog), so I’ve never bothered to celebrate the anniversary.
Happy belated bloggiversary! I’m so glad that you blog and I’m glad that it’s how we met! You were also one of the first running blogs I ever read, and one of my inspirations for starting a blog.
