Friday Favorites

And just like that, it’s Friday again!

It’s been a good week with a lot of favorites.  Fall has arrived, I got to run in the pouring rain (yes that’s a favorite) while wearing a running vest (!!), and I have had the best run dates this week!

Plus a few other things…

The weather this morning was most definitely a favorite.  I always check the weather right when I wake up, especially if I am going running.  When I saw a temperature that started with a 4 AND it was at the lower end of the spectrum, I jumped out of bed and got ready.  I LOVE running in 30s and 40s and this was my first time in a long time.  It made me happy.

Because of the glorious cold temperatures, I was able to wear crops, a long sleeve top and a vest!  Sometime back in July, I was in lululemon trying on this pretty much exact outfit.  It was hot outside that day and I just wanted to wear it.  I told Kristin that I couldn’t wait until the day I got to wear my favorite running clothes.  Today was the day!

I also love sending text messages like these.  I think that would be my favorite way to wake up.  You can ask Kristin if it is or not.  We had another great Friday morning run date followed by coffee.  Love them!

I am so excited to be the Refuel with Chocolate Milk athlete of the month this month!  Check out the whole team here and you can find my bio on there too.

Hey that’s me.

And what Friday Favorite post is complete without something about Kylie and Emma?  They played tug of war so hard that they broke their toy.  My pups are always a favorite part of my weeks.

Strong puppies.

I finally finished watching Mad Men last week, so this week was spent getting back to reading!  Time for the second book of The Hunger Games.  I finished Catching Fire Wednesday night and started Mockingjay last night.  Addicted much?  I think so.

What are your favorite parts of this week?

I wore long sleeves the other day and was SO excited! AND it was raining :) Win-Win.

You will LOVE Mockingjay! I’m re-reading the entire series because I am a nerd, but it’s just SO good!

Also – congrats on being athlete of the month! As an avid chocolate milk drinker, I’m proud to have you represent my favorite (run or no run) drink! :)

I’m loving the cooler weather, but we seemed to have skipped fall in PDX. Its raining and very gray. I’m not quite ready for the crap weather again.

I love the Hunger Game series!!!! I can’t wait to see the movie next year (so excited)! I’m working on running outside more because I find myself always running on the treadmill. I just have a hard time finding places to run. Fall weather is perfect and I’m making a goal to switch my runs outside a couple days each week.
