My Good News

I have never in my life been able to say that I truly love my job. 

Sure I love numbers and am good at accounting and taxes, but the whole corporate environment I have been in, I have never really enjoyed.  I often have felt like I didn’t really fit in, and most definitely was not fulfilled.

That is until now.

Last Friday I put in my notice at my current job.  But not just for any job, for the job I never thought it was going to be possible for me to find. 

…A job that I want to scream from the rooftops about. 
…A job that is doing what I do best with numbers but…
…A job that is working for a company that makes a product that I truly love and…
…A job that is working for a company that backs, and is based on, the values and lifestyle that are so incredibly important to me.

In less than a month I will be going to work at Clif Bar and I couldn’t be any more thrilled! 

The smile hasn’t left my face since the day I got the phone call, and although there are some things that are hard to say goodbye to at my old job, I don’t think I could have hand picked a job that is more suited for me than this one.  It is combining my two worlds, taking all of my passions, and putting it all into one.  It’s a dream place for an active person to work and a dream come true for me.  To say I am excited is an understatement!

    AH!!! That is so exciting, Aron! I remember reading a few years ago about how forward thinking Clif Bar was as an employer as far as workout classes/gym/daycare on site. I think I’m remembering correctly. ANyway, so excited that you found a fulfilling job and exciting company to work for!

    Congratulations Aron! :) How fun! I’ve fantasized a few times about working at Active.com which is up the road from me since I know several people there and it sounds like such a fun, healthy lifestyle place to work! My work experience is with doctors not athletes though, but I can live vicariously through my friends who work there and get to workout during the day and get days off to volunteer etc. ;o) The Luna brand of Cliff supports Girls on the Run!
