Every Tuesday evening since February Kristin and I have been going to lululemon Walnut Creek to lead the weekly run club we put together. It’s been a great couple months, lots of hard work but mostly a TON of fun! There have been dark runs, rainy run, hot runs, but they all have been amazing getting people out the door to move!
Tonight I had my normal run club routine planned when Chris texted me that he wanted to go – he has never been! I had planned on running before hand, but decided to take advantage of him wanting to join me and went and picked him up. We got to the store and things were the normal procedure… sign in, announcements, then running!
Kristin and I were in the back of the pack sweating away in the 90+ degrees, very much looking forward to the lemonade stand that we were told was set up at the 1.5 mile turn around. We were getting close and we started to hear cowbells, then we heard screaming, then we saw the signs…

I was semi-in shock not knowing what was going on, but it didn’t take me long to figure it out.
Of course we said yes.
We are both so excited and honored to get to be a part of such an amazing company and store! We have so many ideas and can’t wait to make run club even better.
I am SO EXCITED to get to share this with Kristin too. We have had such an amazing year so far, have had so much fun together, and I can’t wait for our adventures to come.
Definitely not what I was expecting when I headed to run club tonight!
