Last month I realized it had been a really long time since we had a Bay Area Blogger meet up which made me sad. I checked my calendar and sent out a quick email to a bunch of bloggers, and it actually ended up magically working out!
I was really excited both to see some old friends and to meet some new ones. The Bay Area blogging community has definitely grown and there were lots of new faces I was so happy to meet!
We met up in Danville in the East Bay this morning and had quite the crew!

We all set out for our own distances and paces and pretty much everyone had someone to run and chat with which was great!
My camera did not cooperate with moving pictures today.
I had a great 6 mile recovery run with Alyssa, Layla and Megan after yesterday’s awesome 20 miler.
Done! 
After the run we headed over to Peet’s to get coffee and we all ended up sitting around talking for a good couple hours. It was so fun to hear everyone getting to know each other and make different connections. Bloggers are the best!
It was such a great morning and I was so happy that so many were able to come! We definitely will be having more in the very near future.

Have you met any bloggers in person?
I have actually lost count of the number I have met! I have been so fortunate to meet so many great friends through blogging and can’t wait to meet many more!
Wait, there is a running blogger meet up in San Francisco? How do I get myself on that list?
I haven’t met any bloggers in person, yet. I’m hoping to meet a few when I finally get myself out to the Bay Area and perhaps I’ll find myself at the Healthy Living Summit in August.
So fun! I’ve met a few but there are so many that I really want to meet. I’ve made some genuine friends through blogging and I can’t wait to meet them! I know that Boston 2012 will be a big meet up and I’m so excited!
I have not met any fellow bloggers in person, but it’s on my list of goals this year. Besides having plans to meet up with some local bloggers soon, I registered to go to a conference specifically to meet a bunch of bloggers whom I have known for at least a year. Can’t wait!

How fun!! I met a couple bloggers when I ran the Nashville marathon. It was a great time.
I’m jealous of your huge meet up! Meeting bloggers is always such a fun time….hopefully I’ll be out west again soon.

I think everybody in my life right now (excluding work), I met through the internet in some way. Even my job, I have because of someone I met through Blogger. It is amazing, isn’t it? Sorry Boomer and I could not make it this morning, I had to work all day. Next time.
I have around ZERO running/fitness bloggers around me so I get ZERO blogger meetups. totally sucks.

That is so awesome you guys could all get together for a run! Since, I’m new to the blogging world I haven’t met anyone yet. This is such an amazing community of bloggers and I can’t wait to get more involved with it!
