I was contacted by Outside PR company a while back to review some of the new pieces of running line that Pearl Izumi has recently come out with.
I was sent the Infinity In-R-Cool long sleeve top along with the Infinity LD short. We all know that I have some very particular favorites when it comes to shorts, so this was going to be a test for me to run in something new.
I took these babies out for a spin and loved them both!
The top is really comfortable AND cute (I love the green!). I love having half zips and the fabric was perfect for cooler morning runs. Not too hot and not too cold.
The shorts are VERY lightweight and very comfortable AND the best part – they have a ton of pockets!
They have 2 zipper pockets in the back and two pockets in the front with a Velcro closure. It is no secret I am obsessed with pockets so that made me very happy.
The top was priced at $55 which I think can be semi-reasonable for a good long sleeve top. The shorts are $50 which I have a hard time shelling out when I can go get a pair of my favorites for $20. BUT those shorts don’t have pockets like these ones.
I definitely love both pieces of clothing though and would recommend them if you are in the market for something on this order. They are definitely in my running clothes rotation now!
Next I will be testing out the Pearl Izumi running shoes that I have been staring at for quite some time but didn’t want to try out until the big races were over.
Review to come in a few weeks!

These are so cute! I love the green detailing on the back of the shirt! And I love the pockets on the shorts, definitely handy. I agree with the pricing – pretty fair for the shirt, a little on the pricey end for the shorts.
i haven’t tried any of their running products, but i’m a big fan of their triathlon and cycling gear!
I LOVE THOSE POCKETS!
You are going to have a hard time getting those shoes off your feet. Those shoes are FAST! Def my favorite and I will pay the 100+ dollars for them when the pair Outside PR sent me will wear off!
How in the world do you get to review products? I want in!!
I love lululemon clothing and mizuno sneakers.
I looooove my pearl izumi shorts, they have become one of my go to pairs! I also really like the Streak for my track workouts now. I think because I had been doing low profile they were easy to transition in to
Cute! I have heard such good things about those shorts that it makes me really want to try them. My favorite winter running jacket is Pearl Izumi – fleece on the inside, wicking on the outside. I’m definitely not loyal to any one brand – my running wardrobe is a mishmash of what is comfy and what I found on sale!
those shoes are SICK
The green details are so cute. I agree the shorts are pricy, but they are so flattering on you!
I’ve stuck to Mizuno Alchemys for the past three years, and I’m open to other brands for clothing. I’m partial for sweet deals at Ross and Marshalls, though.
I did some wear testing of the shorts and top also and really liked them. My memories of PI were from old cycling clothing. I think they’ve come a long way since then!
I haven’t tried Pearl Izumi. I would have a hard time paying those prices, but I do like to have 1 or 2 pairs of more expensive shorts with pockets for long runs and races.
Love the top and definitely love the shorts since they have pockets with zips. I haven’t ever heard of that brand before, may have to check it out, thanks!
Oh man Rose Runner (http://www.roserunner.blogspot.com/) would love these shorts, she loves pockets.
I typically stick with my Nike running tights, but I’m in the market for running shorts. Just bought a pair of the Nike Tempo since they seem to be one of the best out there. Not sure how I feel about shelling out $50 for a pair of shorts, but they are cute and useful.
i love those shorts!
I really like those shorts… the pockets totally make them tempting! I hate it when shorts only have the front inner key pocket! They look great on you too!
i’m on my 3rd pair of pearl izumis! roadbunner turned me on to them and i love them so much! i don’t even need to break in the shoe at all. i ran the vancouver marathon with only 15 miles on my latest pair and had no problems at all.
i’ve never tried their clothes, but they look so cute on you that i just may have to!
I cannot feel as if we should be sports loincloths made of dingo skin, a lot better than we’ve been inside a workout regularly. One time we realize it is really truly working out, is going to be breathtaking.
