Now that spring seems to be officially here (or at least it’s getting close) it’s time to break out some of our warm weather running gear!
I have never been one to run in sunglasses in the past, not that I had anything against them, it was just something I hadn’t invested in. So when I was contacted by Outside PR company to review some Ryders Eyewear sunglasses I jumped on the chance! When I received 2 extra pair to giveaway I was even more excited.
I have worn two different pairs, the Defcon and the Tweaker SL and loved them both. I ran a long run in the Defcon pair and actually really liked running in sunglasses. They fit under my hat and just added an extra protection for my eyes from the sun while I ran. I never realized that I must squint during sunny runs because afterwards my face felt more relaxed than normal.
I will definitely be adding sunglasses to my list of essentials for the summer months!
Now to the fun part… The Giveaway!

I am a sunglass for everything person!! I am addicted to my sunglasses! I have yet to find the perfect ones for everything though so I cycle through a few pairs of cheaper ones!
I have not been a sunglasses runner, but thinking if nice weather actually comes to my part of the world, that I will need to invest in a pair. I noticed one of my very few sunny runs that I squint a lot and I don’t need any more lines!
Tweeted about the giveaway!
YES I am a sunglass runner. I wear them even when it’s slightyl overcast or at least bring them on my head because I can’t handle the sun in my eyes – and as you know I don’t wear hats.
Tweeted!!
Yup, I’m a sunglasses runner. I have a habit of picking up cheap sunglasses at race expos, but it’d be nice to have a good pair!
Being a contact lens wearer, I tend to always run in sunglasses (even on cloudy days). They keep my contacts from drying out. If I am not sure I will need them, I still perch them on my hat in case I want to reach up and grab them.
Also, last July I took a nasty fall (crack in the sidewalk jumped up and got me), I landed right on the corner of my sunglasses. While it still required stitches, it actually absorbed a good amount of impact and likely saved me from a worse injury.
I am currently not a sunglasses wearer while running, but have been looking for a good pair. I always wear sunglasses when not running, but just haven’t found any for running.
With light sensitive eyes I am forced to be a sunglass wearer. The problem is fogging and slipping…sounds like these might be my answer!!!
Yep – I run in sunglasses! Picked up a super cheap pair that are falling apart, but fit under a hat or visor, and let me wear my overear headphones too.
I’m a newbie runner and am excited to be running my 1st 10k race in May and have signed up to train for a half race in August. I haven’t run with sunglasses yet, but I sure would like to!!!
Yes, I am a new sunglass runner! After many, many years of running without them, I found a pair of cheapo New Balance ones that don’t fall off my face when running. I’m definitely a convert. I swear it makes me feel less hot and sweaty if I wear shades!
not yet, but i really want to try them! would love to win the tweakers. i’ve def noticed an increased sensitivity to light as i’ve gotten older and i think it’s time to make the switch!
I am a sunglass runner – helps protect my contacts. I have a totally cheap pair that I look like a dork in so am in need of some cool shades.
I haven’t ever been a sunglasses runner, but after recently realizing that the reason my eyes are ALWAYS closed in race pictures is because I’m being blinded by the sun… I’ve decided that sunglasses are going to be a must… soon!
I tweeted @LauraRMuise
I always wear sunglasses when I run. Even when it’s overcast. I hate squinting!
I have just started running less than 2 months ago and am aiming to run a 5k in June. I have worn sunglasses twice while running and do find it helps a lot! But the ones I have are not very comfortable so I would love to win a pair that a pro runner has tested!
I think it’s really important to protect your eyes when running! ANd tech sunglasses are the best because they’re usually lightweight and fit for your face while you’re moving a lot. Those pink ones are fabulous! I’d love to win.
I am not a sunglasses runner but for the same reason you weren’t – just haven’t invested in them yet. I do sometimes notice myself squiting during runs, so it might be time to start!
I definitely wear sunglasses. I wear them even when it’s raining. I can’t tweet, cuz I’ve gone cold turkey, but I would LOVE a pair of these. It’s hard finding light ones that cover the eyes and give you no problems while running.
If I win, I’ll do a review too
I’m a total sunglasses person, not just a sunglasses runner. I wear them when I’m running, when I’m biking, when I’m driving, when I’m walking… if they’re not on my face they are doing double duty as a headband. My eyes are supersensitive to light. I always just buy cheap pairs from Target, so I would love a good pair. Plus the photochromatic lenses sound awesome!
tweeted!
i WANT to be a sunglass runner SO BAD!
especially this winter. i found that with all the snow on the ground, i was getting glare from below as much as above. in the summer a hat is good enough for me, but i think in the winter i need to get a little more protection.
can’t wait!
I’ve been wearing my Ray Bans on my runs this spring. They are bright blue and white. Though I may look like a hipster on my runs, I am not sure they are doing the job. I could totally use a good new pair of running glasses for my long summer runs!
I don’t have a pair of sunglasses to wear while running, but I’ve been planning on buying a pair for this summer. I’m starting marathon training in June and will definitely need a pair by then. The Tweaker SL look like they would be functional and stylish:)
I like to run in sunglasses when its bright out. I think it helps prevent mental fatigue on a really sunny day.
I Always run in sunglasses, even if it’s cloudy and especially if it rains (keeps water out of my eyes)
I’m not a sunglass runner – yet. I’ve always envied my dads lightweight pair that he picked up at a running expo but just haven’t had the opportunity to go find my own. Plus a pair of pink ones would match perfect with my mostly pink running wardrobe.
Oh those sunglasses look so nice! I never used to run in sunglasses, but I started to at the end of last summer (well, fall really). I haven’t worn sunglasses all winter while running, but have broken them out a couple of times thus-far this spring. Haven’t needed them too much yet though because it seems to always be raining, not sunny. :-/
I’m not a sunglass wearer…yet! While I was running my marathon, though, I realized I need to be! I think I wasted too much energy squinting my eyes!
I am not currently a sunglasses runner b/c I have been afraid to invest $$$ in something that I am worried about bouncing or sliding or becoming an annoyance during my runs. However, living in the hot and sunny southeast this is something I have been thinking about adding to my gear as I notice I am squinting quite a bit lately. Love the pink ones! Thanks for the giveaway
I am usually a hat runner more than a sunglass runner! However, I let my husband wear a pair of my sunglasses for his long run last week and he said they were so comfortable. It made me rethink wearing them, especially since I’m a big squinter. I would definitely rock a pink pair!!!
I wear sunglasses sometimes but I lost my pair over the winter and need to find them to wear again. I almost always wear a hat though.
I love my ryders! They have been great for running and training! Good luck to whoever is entering the contest!
I have never been a fan of wearing sunglasses – I’ve lost and broken so many pairs because I can’t get used to having something on my face. I recently had to start wearing glasses (contacts scare me) so I’m trying to get used to sunglasses too. I haven’t tried running or biking in shades because I thought they’d get sweaty and slip off. Great to hear this brand doesn’t!!
I love running with sunglasses. I wear contact lenses to exercise, but often throw on a pair of sunglasses (I specialize in cheap ones usually), but the longer my runs are (in marathon training now), the more I want to make sure I have a good pair that protect me.
Colorado sun is strong. Wear sunglasses running all the time and even most of the time when outside for more than just a short bit. Would love to have a new and MUCH better pair, the small/mediums look great.
I don’t run in sunglasses that often but I need to, espeically living in Florida! I would love to win the sunglasses – especially the pink pair!!
I always wear sunglasses. All the time. Even on cloudy days. I’ve even been known to wear sunglasses indoors. My eyes are just that sensitive to light! So of course I’m a sunglass runner!
awesome giveaway! i always wear sunglasses when i’m running because i hate squinting into the sun
*unless is cloudy then sometimes i skip the glasses*
I always wear sunglasses!! my eyes are super light sensitive! So far I only have cheap sunglasses that are kinda meh for running!
I’ve wanted to wear sunglasses when running but I haven’t found the right pair and I haven’t had the money to buy a nicer pair like Ryders
I just tweeted! @kaylaruns
I would run in sunglasses if I had a pair to run in! I feel silly running in my giant, oversized, fashion frames, so I just wear a visor instead. I don’t love it, but it works for now!
Just tweeted too! @running_foodie
I prefer to run in sunglasses, although I haven’t found a paid I absolutely love. I usually get headaches if I squint too much in the sun so sunglasses offer good protection against that.
I don’t have any sports sunglasses…right now I’ve been having to wear my everyday sunglasses. I would love to win these!!
I prefer to run in sunglasses, but haven’t yet found the right pair! Maybe this is it?
I wear sunglasses sometimes. I have a pair of Tifosis I do like, I just don’t always put them on, it is just one more piece of gear…
I tweeted, too!
I always run with sunglasses, even when the sun is setting. Wind in my eyes dries out my contacts and the specs help quite a bit. Also, they really help me to stay focused. It’s easier for me to turn inward when the rest of the world can’t see my eyes.
I usually run in sunglasses but they are the big ole kind that make me feel silly when I run in them!! I’d LOVE a pair of running sunglasses!
I would LOVE to become a sunglass runner! My contacts are always dried out on runs whether from the sun or wind. With a sunny summer coming up, it’s either win this pair, or buy some of my own
.
I actually have not been a sunglasses wearer yet — but the sun has been getting brighter and brighter as summer approaches, and squinting never helped anyone run faster
Yes I am a sunglasses runner! If I dont wear any I cry ..not fun!
I run in some fun zebra sunglasses when I remember lol.
I’m a sunglass wearer when I run, but I don’t own a pair of running/sport sunglasses and would oh, so love to have a pair! (:
I tweeted!
@carotabi
thanks for the chance to win these!
This is so timely! I did my long run at the beach yesterday and squinted the entire 1.5 hours *and* had sand blown into my eyes and sticking to my contacts. Obviously, not a sunglasses runner yet but hope to be soon!
I love to wear sunglasses when running, but am on the hunt for a new pair as the cheap ones I got at an expo a few years ago are falling apart. Love your blog and congrats on Boston!
I tweeted! @upwitholives
I am sometimes a sunglass runner, have never found a pair that I love and that fits right!
I live in Florida, so most definitely!!!
Tweeted
I am not currently a sunglass runner but I have been thinking about some sort of sunglasses or visor or hat because since the time change I am running in the sun more and more.
Hey Aron! I’m definitely a sunglasses girl, ALL the time. I have an old pair of Oakley’s from a friend that I wear but they don’t fit very well. But they are the only glasses that fit under my hat and don’t slide down my nose while running. They are a necessity when the summer comes around. Sometimes it’s so bright a hat doesn’t cut it.
I’ll tweet too!
I am a sunglass runner. I only have one pair though and would love a pair in pink!! I’ve heard great things about Ryders!!
I am not a sunglasses wearer when I run, but am a big hat gal. I get too hot sometimes with a hat, so switching to sunglasses on those days would be nice! Thanks!
i have never worn sunglasses while running, but i have been looking around to buy a pair! gotta protect these eyes
I ALWAYS wear sunglasses. I kind of feel naked without them!
I usually wear women’s Oakley Enduring Edge sunglasses when I run. I feel that the men’s oakley’s are built for really big heads, hence the reason I wear ladies fit sunnies.
I am NOT a sunglasses runner YET, though I should be since I live in sunny San Diego. I just haven’t gotten around to finding a pair… and I’ve always been under the impression that they’d be pretty expensive.
I’ve never really run in sunglasses because I usually wear a hat. But, if I had a cute pair of sunglasses like these I’m pretty sure I’d be hooked.
Great giveaway!
I am not a faithful sunglass wearer. I usually forget them when I head outside and then regret it later! I need to get better about keeping them with the rest of my gear.
i wear sunglasses to run when it’s sunny out
tweeted http://twitter.com/#!/thepajamachef/status/62636919519064064
I’m not currently a sunglass runner, but I keep thinking I should be!
I wear sunglasses while running, especially on the trails when the bugs are out in force. There is nothing worse than a contact lense wearer with a bug in her eye!
I am a sunglasses runner, but since mine recently were broken by my angel of a child
these would be great to have!
I tweeted @jfriesgaither
I am a sunglass runner. I would love a new pair. My husband hates my cheap white ones I bought forever ago!
I tweeted about his giveaway!
I like to run with sunglasses on bright days, in fact I ran the whole Boston Marathon in sunglasses! I have clip-ons for my glasses, but I would use my contacts if I had some cool new sunglasses! Congrats on Boston! Loved your race reports! Good luck and have fun at Big Sur (if you are doing that).
I am new to running but living in Florida requires some sort of eye protection so I run with a hat. I wear sunglasses all the time and I would love to wear them when I run if I had the right pair. I’m currently training for my first half marathon and will be doing a lot of outdoor runs in the summer!
I just tweeted!
Omg I love those pink ones! I totally think I need some – here in Texas I know I’m squintin in the sun and that can’t be good.
Oh I tweeted about this giveaway too!
I am not a sunglasses runner but have been looking for pair since I will be marathon training through the summer.
I used to run in sunglasses all the time until one day when I set them on top of the jogging stroller while dealing with my kids and then forgot about them until they fell off and I managed to run over them.
I was a sunglasses runner but can’t find a decent pair that will fit under my hat!
I have not worn sunglasses on the run yet but i only started running in december so it hasn’t been much of a problem yet…
I am a sunglasses runner, though mine are totally broken and falling apart and embarrassing to run in!
I have never worn sunglasses while running but the older I get, the more important sunscreen and eye protection are to me. I am in the market for a great pair, winning would be sweet considering I blew through a whole paycheck at the Boston Marathon Expo!
I just tweeted!
I am not a sunglass runner. I have been wanting to try some out, but all of mine are large lenses that I wear everyday. I don’t think they would work too well running.
I ALWAYS wear sunglasses when I run – many times to a detriment when the light is a little too dark
But I’m in desperate need of a new pair – the lenses of my running sunglasses have started to pop out occasionally when I run!
At one point, I was a diehard sunglasses runner…until my 10 mi race in August. The sunglasses were a necessity, but I had a huge chafe mark on the side of my nose from the nosepad thingy. It looked like a hickey on the side of my nose.
I just tweeted about your giveaway.
I’ve thought about trying a pair out, but have never actually run with sunglasses. Mostly I’m just glad if it’s light out!
I actually don’t wear sunglasses when I run, but I should because it is really sunny on the Gulf Coast!
I just tweeted about this giveaway!
Hi! I’m a new reader and would LOVE to win a pair of sunglasses. I currently use my husband’s cycling sunglasses and it would be great to have a pair of my own
I am a runner and I wear sunglasses, but not when I’m running! I haven’t found a good pair that stay put… maybe these are them!
I haven’t worn sunglasses to run yet since I’m overwhelmed by choices and finding the right ones, etc. Sunglasses would be a good option for me since I don’t like wearing hats and I squint way too much during runs.
I just bought some sunglasses to run with but unfortunately they rub on my cheekbones
Sad! Maybe these will be better!
I never run in sunglasses, but I love the pink ones!
I always run in sunglasses, but nothing special… whatever crappy pair from H & M are closest to my ipod when I walk out of the door. I’ve been looking to invest in something more protective.
I like the black ones the best!
Ooh pink, pretty! I am a sunglass runner, when the sun actually comes out in Oregon!
I always run in sunglasses! They’re mandatory here in Arizona. Don’t want to get cataracts or wrinkles any sooner than necessary! Plus sunglasses help keep the eye drying wind at bay. My brother loaned me a pair of Costas, and I fell in love with them. I’d love to try a pair that were photochromic. That sounds great! Love your blog. Thanks for writing about your running experiences. Reading your blog really helped me not feel like a crazy person when I started loving running, and my friends & family were telling me I was crazy to be running.
I run in sunglasses in the summer when it’s super-sunny! I usually just wear my cheap-o $5 wal-mart glasses. These would be super-nice!
I am totally NOT a sunglass runner, but I do wonder if it’s because I’ve never tried actual good sunglasses. Old Navy ones aren’t even comfortable when you’re not exercising!
I’m not a current sunglass runner…but i might be if i had cute ones like that! I always run with a visor on, but i probably do squint too. Would love to try ‘em!
I am! I squeeze my giant cheapo “fashion” sunglasses under my running hat. I happen to think it looks…cool? ha.
i am a sunglasses wearer. but i always debate on how bright the sun is. i don’t want raccoon eyes
I MUST have sunglasses on when I run! Even if it is overcast I need my sunglasses – mostly because we all know that as soon as I get a few miles from home the sun will come out and blind me! Don’t get me wrong, I love running in the sun, I just need my sunglasses.
Unfortunately I lost my favorite running sunglasses at a race last fall…I desperately need a new pair and have been dealing with my regular sunglasses which make me look a fool when out running!
I’m a sunglasses runner but my only pair of sunglasses are Ray-Ban Wayfarer’s and they start to feel really heavy after a mile or so and I’m always worrying that they’ll fall off and break. That would be tragic!
I run with sunglasses anytime the sun is out, but the ones I have don’t fit well so it would be great to have new ones!
I run in them when I have them but they have to fit well. I have a small face so it is hard to find some that fit me right. Congrats on the great run in Boston!
I have to be a sunglasses runner. I had lasik eye surgery a couple of years ago and if I don’t wear sunglasses I could damage my perfect eye sight. I could really use a good pair of shades.
I haven’t worn sunglasses while running before; always wear a hat. I am training for my first marathon (NYC in November) so I’ll be running a lot this summer and would love a pair of sunglasses to keep me from squinting on my LONG runs!
I’m a sunglass runner! It’s hard not to in sunny New Orleans!
I must run in sunglasses. I snagged a pair of Oakleys at Disney World and never looked back. I also loved the Dragon company. But I have not seen them in years.
I posted about your giveaway on Twitter (inj3nuity)
I wear sunglasses all the time when I run. The only time I don’t is when I run late at night or early morning. Subsequently, my current pair need replacing. (Nudge nudge).
I’ve never ran in sunglasses before, but I almost always run in a hat. I can see how sunglasses could be helpful in the summertime, though! Thanks for a great giveaway!
I started wearing them after I won a pair and they are awesome! It is really nice not having to squint while running!
Although it hasn’t been overly sunny in Michigan yet, I am a sunglasses runner!
I also tweeted about your giveaway (@runningtoprize)
I don’t usually run with sunglasses, because they have kept slipping off the few times that I’ve tried! I’d love to test a pair that actually stays put, though.
I’ve never tried running with sunglasses before but if I got these, I think I’d be a convert!!

I am definitely a sunglasses runner! My eyes are super light sensitive, so I’ll often run with both sunglasses and a hat to protect them. Thanks for the review!
Also, I tweeted! (@megpwuebker)
I definitely run with sunglasses! (and mine are pretty scratched, so I really need a new pair
)
I tweeted: http://twitter.com/#!/stickyprints/status/62867463423004672
I’ve never run in sunglasses, but I’d be willing to give it a try!
I do wear sunglasses when I run, I hate the sun being in my eyes!
I lost my good pair of running sunglasses…I need a new pair!
Posted on twitter too…
I am a die-hard sunglasses runner. Can’t leave home without them. I usually buy cheap ones, so I would love a pair with polarized lenses.
I actually have been thinking about investing in a pair of running sunglasses, I wish it was acceptable to take sunglasses out for a spin for a test drive! I am a fellow running hat addict purely because I enjoy that it protects my sensitive skin from the sun, but I think that wearing some sun glasses would probably help see things and reduce squinting (which I know I do a lot of
) Thanks for hosting the give away!
I have to run with sunglasses on sunny days. I had laser eye surgery and my eye are more sensitive to light as a result. I’ll be tweeting as well!
i wear sunglasses when i run, but i have a hard time finding a pair that doesnt slide down when i sweat!
Oooh man! I am a sunglass EVERYTHING girl!!! My eyes are so sensitive that I even have to wear them when it’s cloudy, raining, snowing (although it doesn’t snow here in AZ) he he! When I ran my first race last Friday outside my friend had NO HAT & NO SUNGLASSES on!!! I couldn’t imagine how she could do that!!! Ha ha so yeah, I guess in a longwinded way that answers the question
I AM A TOTAL SUNGLASSES RUNNER!
I love running in sunglasses in the afternoon, makes the run so much easier on my sensitive eyes!
Congrats again on Boston!
jeff
I’ve never been a sunglass runner bc I can’t find any that fit my wide face – but maybe now I can!
I am not a sunglasses runner but would love to have an actual pair of running sunglasses! Then maybe I would convert
My eyes are super-sensative to light, so I almost always wear sunglasses when I run. These look so much cooler and more appropriate (lighter) for running too!
I have never run in sunglasses before, but this past weekend I went out for my first ever 8 mile run and spent half of it wishing I had thought to grab sunglasses. My face hurt from squinting! I’m in the market for a pair, and the Tweakers look like a good bet. I’d love to win!
I have never run in sunglasses before.. probably because the only sunglasses I own are the big huge ones that only serve a fashion purpose. I am sure in all of this Louisiana heat I could use a pair of nice running glasses!
Tweeted your giveaway!
Currently I dont run with sunglass…I am a baseball hat kind of girl. However, I am in the market for some sunglasses to bike with! These look like they would fit the bill!
I prefer to be a sunglass runner alway, but am definitely a sunglass runner during tri season- because I HAVE to wear them on the bike so I leave them on for the run. Looking for a good pair though as my old ones got ruined last year.
I am a sunglass wearer during runs and races. Allows me to keep an eye on the road squint-free and is especially useful during bike rides to keep bugs and dust out of my eyes. Sadly thus far all of my glasses have come from Target so they have a life of about 6-8 months. Hope to get a solid pair soon!
I am a big fan of sunglasses while running, especially this time of year when it starts getting really hot and bright! Because I spend so much time outside running, I am religious about sunglasses, sunscreen (don’t neglect to put some on your ears, too!), hats, etc – gotta stay covered out under that sun, especially for a fair-skinned gal like me.
However, I’m currently rocking a pair of Walmart’s $15 finest.
I would love to upgrade to a pair of these!
Very timely, as I’m going out to look for a new pair of sunglasses this weekend. I wear sunglasses all the time, running or not. My current sunglasses are a cheap pair from Target, so I’d love to try some running sunglasses. Thanks!
I’m definitely a sunglasses runner!
I am always looking for glasses that don’t fog as much, especially in the humid Boston summers! Awesome giveaway — thank you!
Hello!
I usually hide under my hats when I run but that’s just because I don’t own a pair of glasses I can run in. I would LOVE to have a pair of sunglasses I could run in!!
Love your blog,
Melissa
I am definitely a sunglasses runner, and I just broke mine! egads!
I am not a sunglasses runner, but I think I’d like to be… I’ve just never found shades I like and that feel good when I run. I squint a ton though and it hurts! I’d love to win.
I’m also tweeting now!
I use a pair of busted aviators that someone left at my house after a part a couple of years ago. I have to tuck them under my headband because they’re huge and stretched out and super scratched. Unfortunately, wearing sunglass in soCal is pretty much a prereq!
And I tweeted (@gidgetrunning)!
I have never found a pair of sunglasses that work for me while running so I’d love to try these out! I definitely squint way too much, not a good look!
I would love to be a sunglasses runner, but can’t find the perfect pair. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Ryders but I haven’t found a store around here that carries them!
I have got to get a pair of those pink ones! Too cute and will match my running gear perfectly. I wear sunglasses for running, and for driving, and for walking and sometimes, because I’m just totally adorable in them. I have aviators for driving my beast of a pick up and dates, then I have a pink pair of runners (only for running – can’t walk in them, not allowed), then I have a pair for doing other outdoor stuff in (camping, walking, etc). I used to have a fourth pair but couldn’t really rock them so I threw them out the beast pick up one day. And promptly retrieved them (they flew into my yard, I wasn’t driving at the time, just in the driveway) and gave them to my 9 year old (who rocks them when he runs).
Haven’t invested in sunglasses yet, but I’d be open to it.
I am definitely a sunglasses runner, even though I’m taking a month of running to re-energize myself.
I’m not a sunglass runner but would love to be! I’ve got really light eyes and while I always wish I had glasses, most of my cheapos (i.e. $7 from gas station) tend to fog up or fall off.
I wear sunglasses all the time, every run…even when it’s overcast. Keeps the wind out of my eyes, not just the sun!
I WANT to wear sunglasses when I run but they always fog up! I hear great things about Ryder & want to give them a try.
I always wear them! Even if the sun is setting and it will get dark on my run!
I almost always wear sunglasses when I’m running. I’ve had the same pair of sunglasses since 1999. I love them, but they’re getting really old.
I tweeted about your giveaway (@runsteelsprings).
What a great giveaway! I recently found your blog and have enjoyed following you to Boston and beyond…and as far as sunglasses go, I’m definitely a sunglasses runner in the summer days. Love those purple ones – a fun departure from my usual brown shades (which aren’t running-specific either). Thanks!
Sent a tweet too! (@bonnielang)
I am a sunglass runner!
I tweeted! tweet tweet
I’m not a sunglasses runner yet, but would love to try!
I’m definitely a sunglasses runner – got to look cool!
I tweeted as well – http://twitter.com/#!/payingmyself/status/63345341625413632
I am definitely a sunglasses wearer. I wear them almost no matter what whiler running, if the sun is up. I hate the wind blowing into my face and making my eyes tear. My running sunglasses are from circa 1999 when I was a whitewater rafting guide – I could definitely use an upgrade!
I am not a sunglasses runner, but I think I need to become one, because all this squinting is giving me wrinkles!!
Would love to have the right kind of running glasses. Have worn my fashionable Oakley’s, but not the right fit for running! Love the style of the Ryders!
I am a major sunglass runner. I have the Oakley Spilt Thumps with a built in mp3 player for those runs I do with my music. Love them!
I currently only wear hats but have been thinking that sunglasses maybe something I need to branch into because my crows feet are gettin’ bad from all my squinting!!!
oooohhhhh!!! and I Tweeted too!!!
Definite sunglasses runner! I cannot stand the slightest glare in my eyes when I run (or drive for that matter), so I have sunglasses on all the time, it seems! I have yet to find the perfect running pair of sunglasses though, so it would be fun to test out a new pair!
I don’t wear sunglasses right now, just a hat, but I feel like I should be, I think I’m squinting a lot and my eyes are super sensitive.
I tweeted the giveaway (@ewallerscott)
I am not a sunglasses runner just a quick dry baseball cap gal!! But I have been searching hi and lo for some sunglasses I like for running and cycling and have yet to find any that don’t give me imprints on my nose, rip out my hair, or fit underneath my cap. Better get some soon b/c I can feel the wrinkles starting to get bigger from all my squinting in the sun!! Thanks for the giveaway!
I actually just started running in sunglasses and like them…keeps things from flying into my eyes and prevents the massive squinting I didn’t realize I was doing until I wore them for the first time!
I am a recent transplant to arizona and am trying to get into running for it’s health benefits. I am looking for a good pair of shades to run in because they are definitely a necessity out here.
Yes, absolutely I run in sunglasses. I NEVER go outside without them, even on the darkest, gloomiest days in the winter. My eyes are very light sensitive.
These glasses are so stylish. Love them.
I am not a sunglasses runner but would like to start wearing them. Running in Central Florida, the sun is pretty killer here and it cannot be good for my eyes, or the skin around them, to run minus shades.
I’m a sunglass runner and have been looking online for new ones but haven’t found ones I like, but I do like the Ryders.
I use sunglasses nearly every time I’m outside especially when I’m running.
I rarely run with sunglasses because they slide down my nose when i get sweaty. Although, maybe I should try something a little nicer than the random ones my sister in law found somewhere and gave me 5 years ago.
I am most definitely a sunglasses runner!
I tweeted!
