If I had to describe the month of February in one word, it would be BUSY.
This month didn’t turn out like I had planned between getting sick twice, missing a few workouts, having a tough race and just feeling all over the place. But on the bright side, I learned a lot, still got most of my workouts in, and got going with all the involvements I have started this year.
The month started off with the stomach flu and missed my first lululemon team lemon run club. Wah.
I went to So Cal for a quick trip and the RRCA running coach certification course.
I had a tough half marathon, but finished #18.
I celebrated my runniversary, and also my blogs third birthday!
I had many fun nights at team lemon run club.
I wrote my third post as part of the Nike Women’s Make Yourself Movement.
Everyone talked about Boston, including me.
I also started talking about food.
I had some great track workouts, some fun long runs, completed 4 more weeks of Boston training and ran 197.8 miles total. Not quite where I hoped to be, but not bad considering everything above!
I finished off the month by passing my RRCA coaching certification! Glad to have that one checked off the list too!
I am definitely looking forward to March, it’s typically a good training month for me and I am excited to finish off the bulk of my Boston training strong!
How was your February?

It was quite the month! Glad you came ot of it with lots of positives despite some hiccups along the way. I hope March goes more smoothly for you!
And keep talking about food – I love it! lol

I would have loved to have your February…so full of running! My February was great too: second half marathon, training for third, introduction of yoga and quick too!

That many miles and you were sick???? OUCH, I’m afraid of you……..
You rocked this month considering your bumps! I would be doing back flips for 197 miles but I get it!!! I hope March is good for you….it signals SPRING!!! Congrats on passing!!

random question: what to do list app do you use? i’m looking for one that displays a simple checklist like your screenshot…
It’s called “to do’s” – I love it
nice february despite all the sickness. i am newly obsessed with all things lulu… it’s becoming a serious problem! but i’m totally okay with that.
February really flew by! I can’t believe how fast the months go when life gets busy!!
Way to get through a tough and busy month! My February was quite good for running, but your mileage still puts me to shame. It does inspire though, so keep it up!
I too did not have a perfect February but hey BEST is good, BETTER is best – life is like this. YOu’re still strong, in good health and raring to go for your last training month. Keep it up and see you in April. HAve you booked a hotel yet? X
I can’t imagine how just shy of 200 miles, you weren’t “quite where you hope to be”!
my february flew by on the whole but each day seemed to drag! great work on the miles and running this month. go do your taxes
Despite the few bumps in the road, it sounds like you had a great month. You accomplished so much – and ran so many miles despite being sick (so very impressed)! Congrats on passing your coaching exam!! I hope March proves to me a great training month for you.
