Early February is always a big deal around runner’s rambles with my runniversary yesterday and my blog’s birthday next week!
I started this blog very close to when I started running in order to document my training for my first marathon, The San Francisco Marathon, and it has since become one of my very favorite races of the year.
One of the best parts of this race is you have 3 different races to choose from.
- The full marathon – You run a 26.2 mile loop around the city, including crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, running through Golden Gate Park and finishing where you started near the Ferry Building.
- The first half – The more scenic half, you start in the very early morning with the full marathoners, cross the GGB while watching the sun come up, and finish in Golden Gate Park while most people are still in bed.
- The second half – Claimed as being the faster half (but still has hills), you get to sleep in a little bit longer with a later start, weave through Golden Gate Park and end at the Embarcadero with the full marathoners (and passing a few on the way).
I have done them all and really can’t pick a favorite, they all have great things about them, it just depends on how far you want to run and what your goals are for the race.
This year I have been fortunate enough to become very involved with the race, both as an ambassador and as a pacer for their training program.
This also means I have earned TWO entries into this year’s race on July 31st, 2011.
As a thank you for all your support, your comments, your emails, your feedback and just for making me smile, I am so excited to be able to give away one of my entries to one of my favorite races and my very first marathon to one of YOU!
So you want to win an entry to one of the above races?
Many ways to enter!
1. Mandatory: Leave a comment telling me how you found my blog and/or how long you been reading. I love hearing these stories!
2. +1 Tweet: I want to win @THESFMARATHON giveaway from @runnersrambles (or something that includes both of our twitter handles).
3. +1 Link this giveaway on your blog and email me with the link.
You also might want to “like” runners’s rambles on facebook because there may be an opportunity or two for an extra entry there, so keep an eye out! I will keep track of the entries as they come in in a spreadsheet, so no need to comment on the blog for each of the above.
***Please only enter this contest if you can actually come to San Francisco and run the race, travel expenses are not included. I earned this entry for my involvement but did not pay anything for it.
I will leave the contest open until Wednesday, February 16th at midnight California time. I will randomly pick a winner and announce it on Thursday, February 17th!
Hope to see you in San Francisco!

I have been following your blog for over a year and am a fan on facebook! yay! I would love to run San Fran. I have only been there once, back in the 80′s and would love to see the city as an adult and a runner.
I’ve been reading (lurking) for a few months. I had the pleasure of meeting Katie A. after last year’s San Francisco Marathon and we also ran the Long Beach Half Marathon together… well, not side by side because she’s a speedster. She kept talking about you and I went and found your blog and have been reading since. You and Katie are both speedsters! I can’t really match you guys but I try and learn as much as I can from pros like you, so thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences. I am planning on running the San Francisco Marathon this year as I fell in love with the race last year, hills and all.
Okay, I am having major anxiety over here because it would be a huge commitment to come to SF this summer… but there are SO many reasons “FOR” it, so I am in. I will make it happen if I am the lucky winner.
Awesome giveaway!!!
I have been reading your blog FOR-EVA!!! I honestly can’t remember how I found it exactly. I wish I could remember when that was – a few years for sure and I am SO GLAD!
I just tweeted!
EEEK!
I found her blog through Twitter via the @SFMarathon retweet! This is the first time I am going to be running a half marathon. I am hoping to do the first half and I’ve started my training so hopefully I’ll be able to run the full 13.1 miles! Looking forward to running the beautiful views that I drive daily in my home town
.
Hello! I joined Twitter a few days ago, and just discovered your blog. My boyfriend ran the SF Marathon last year, and I was truly bummed that I wasn’t able to participate along with him (did not train sufficiently). We are both running the SF Marathon this year! I can’t wait! Looking forward to the scenery
I recently joined Twitter and just discovered your blog. I can’t wait to run the SF Marathon!
this
is
the
coolest
idea
ever.
I follow.
Been reading for about 14 months.
awesome.
What a fun giveaway! I ran the 1st half last summer and would love to run the full this year. I tweeted too.
Oh, and I found your blog from meals and miles, I think back from the foodbuzz festival.
Great giveaway. I really want to run this one someday…I’ve never even been to San Fran. I don’t think my body will be wanting to do a marathon in July, though.
Just wanted to tell you I wish I could!!!!
I found your blog through twitter (I follow you there). I’m not sure how I started following your tweets. But, I love your blog. I would LOVE to win an entry to the SF Marathon. SF is one of my favorite cities and I’d love to run the full there this summer!
I found your blog from heatrunner’s blog role, and I’ve been reading it for about 2 months now. This is, I can officially say, the GREATEST giveaway ever! Who needs another chance to win compression socks when you can win a marathon entry instead?!? So definitely sign me up because if I win, you can bet that I’ll be there in SF on July 31 to run 26.2 miles.
I found your blog from a SF Marathon newsletter that came out discussing your entry. So i have just started reading ,but very excited to read a locals blog, as i am from WC, and a member for FMRC so i’ve been to your Las Lomas track mornings you host!
I’ve been checking your blog out for quite some time now and we’re run a lot of the same events over the years. The San Francisco Marathon was my first marathon (in 2007) and continues to be one of my favorite races. I hope I win an entry so I can make it my last long run before Ironman Canada.
All the best,
Ron
I’ve been following your blog for a little over a year now. I absolutely LOVE reading about your training and racing!
I have family in San Francisco and would love for you to pick me! It’d be fun to have an extra excuse to make a trip out west!!
I found your blog through another runner’s blog, I believe. Seems like I’ve been following forever – probably about a year? I would absolutely LOVE to run San Fran. Can’t wait!
I have just recently started to read this blog. I found it through another blog that I read (All Thing’s Jaime which I found through The Loop on Runner’s World). What an awesome give away!
I’ve just recently ran across your blog after learning you were a race ambassador. I’m hoping to relocate up north from LA by end of year and thought it would be great to see my new home city on foot. I’d be very grateful if I won an entry. Thanks for considering me.
I’ve been reading your blog nearly since it’s inception!! You were also one of my first Twitter follows!!! I think I first started following you way back in 2008. You are a constant inspiration to me. I would LOVE to run SF!
First, happy birthday! Second, thanks for advertising this event and one of the world’s most gorgeous cities. I’m busy planning my permanent move to SF and can’t wait to get there. Third, I’d love to join you on July 31. I’ll be in SF that week to take the grueling, three-day California Bar exams… and can’t think of a better way to unwind and celebrate my arrival in a new city than running the Golden Gate Bridge! Good luck, keep ambassadoring, and have a great race.
I’m a fan of the SF Marathon page and saw a notice about your blog this morning; I’ll “like” this page, too, when I’m done leaving this message! I started running about a year and a half ago and just finished my 4th marathon last month. A fellow running group member ran San Francisco last year and raved about it. It’s one of my favorite cities in the world and we have friends there–great excuse to visit!
I read this by having SF marathon as my friend on facebook. I have always had a passion for fitness but just recently been more drawn to running. I have done several local races for charities and last year signed up for the SF marathon. I had some trouble in getting there so even though I ran the race and completed the first half of the marathon, I dd not get my start time registered, I had such an amazing experience, especially seeing all the many people running. That pushed me harder! I would like the experience of running again,to be able to log my time and have my personal best.
I’ve been following you probably well over a year. Probably found you through Katie A.
I ran SF Marathon last year and LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! I’ve love to do it again but finances are tight (and heel is being a pain, literally -ha) so this would help tremendously! Thanks!!
Great blog! I found it from the SF Marathon Facebook page today. I’d never run more than a mile, did my first half-marathon(SF 1st half) last year and just ran my 4th half-marathon in Death Valley last weekend. Yes, I read your post about enjoying half-marathons(and I share that feeling).
I’m now aiming for 8 half-marathons this year. I hadn’t planned on a full, but I guess if I won, I’d have to do a lot more planning.
Keep up the good work and good luck in your Boston Marathon this April!
Found your blog through SF Marathon’s facebook page! Ran my first half 3 years ago and my first marathon just last October – the Nike Women’s with Team in Training. I really want to run SF this summer but have been putting off paying the money for the registration so winning one would be awesome! Keep running and posting – it is so inspiring to hear other runners’ stories!
I won’t lie, this is the first time I read your blog. I really want to run SF marathon. I know about your giveaway from @libbyruns.
I am runaholic!
Cheers!
I found your blog through the social network. I can’t remember who @’d you (is that a word) on Twitter, but I found you and then found your blog.
Instead of when I started running, let me tell you why I would like to run SF Marathon again. I first ran it in Aug 2008. I didn’t run it for myself. I ran it for a friend who was celebrating 5 years of walking. Five years earlier, he suffered a brain injury that left him in a wheelchair. It took him 5 years, but he ran the 26.2 miles, with me being his “lead car” the entire way and when he crossed the finish line, he celebrated not only that he lived through the brain injury, but that he more than proved how miraculous it was. For 26.2 miles, I was humbled not by the race, but by what it means to different people. It took us about 2 hours longer than my normal marathon, but to this date, stands as one of my favorite races & favorite moments.
I have linked your blog on my blogroll and have been for… a year?? I don’t remember how I found your site… maybe just clicking around.’
I would like to go for it (the half, probably!).
This is awesome! I want to do the SF marathon so badly, despite being totally scared of the hills! I just found your blog a couple of weeks ago when I followed the SF marathon on twitter. You are very often retweeted there, so that’s how I found your blog and I really like it! Keep up the good work!
I retweeted the giveaway too
Happy Birthday!!!! We met in the RRCA class.
I plan to run SFM for the third time this year!
I retweeted and posted your giveaway on my blog here:
http://triathena.wordpress.com/2011/02/10/win-a-free-entry-to-the-sf-marathon/
I found your Blog over at SUAR and have been following for a few months. I ran this race 3 years ago-did the first 1/2 of the marathon that goes over the Golden Gate bridge. It was spectacular and I’ve wanted to return ever since to run the full marathon.
I think I found you through Katie A! Last summer??
Hi — I met you at the RRCA training session in Pasadena last week! Hopefully, Patti will send us each other’s emails to keep in touch. I’d love to run SF again this year.
Awesome giveaway. Sorry I can’t enter, but I wanted to let you know how great this was.
I’ve been reading your blog for years. I can’t even remember how I found it. Probably through someone else’s blog. Or maybe I did a search for running blogs in the Bay Area? Yours was definitely one of the first running blogs I followed, though.
I am still undecided about doing SF this year and this would be a sign from above that I should run it.
I think I started following your blog sometime in early 2009. I found you through other blogs where you were linked, commented etc. The post I remember most was your Eugene marathon race report.
I’ve been secretly wishing I had a way to get in to the SF Marathon this year
I got in for free via Team Jamba Juice last year and it was one of the best races I’ve done.
Only if you can cover my travel expenses also!
I’ve been reading your blog for over a year or so and I love following your training! I found it while talking to my friend Liz (Foodtorunfor.blogspot.com) I really like your writing style and your approach to running and training, it’s something I can 100% relate to. I’ve never been to SF before and I am dying to go and take a running tour of the city!
I’m don’t even remember how I found your blog (probably by gooogling lady running blogs … not that I do that often or anything) and I’ve been reading for about 6 months. I’m a super slow poke quasi newbie runner but you definitely inspire me! I was actually thinking of signing up for san francisco (it would be my first marathon, too!L so it would be awesome to win!
I actually just saw this on FB under the SF Marathon page! And just read your a couple of blogs for the first time!!! I like your writing style and the fact that you hated running before you started!!!! The San Francisco Marathon is going to be my first marathon I am so excited I can’t wait!!!! I love the city and can’t wait to run acorss the Golden Gate bridge (I think that will be my runner high of the race). Congrats on your runniversary.
I just found you through @libbyruns! I LOVE San Francisco & would love the excuse to go back again. Especially to run across the Golden Gate Bridge!!
I “like” your page on FB.
I think I found you through Danica (chicrunner’s) site, but I honestly can’t remember. I’ve been reading since last fall and YOU totally motivate me to get out there and run!
I’ve only recently found your blog after learning that you were one of this year’s Ambassadors. I’m really excited about running the SF Marathon this year. I’m an LA native who is looking to move up there soon and I thought what better way to see my new city than by foot well at least 26.2 miles of it anyway. I hope you’ll consider me and look forward to seeing you in July.
I have been following your blog for 9 years. You’ve been blogging that long, right?
I feel like I’ve had you in my Greader for since I can remember!
I would love love love to win this! I’m tweeting too
I’ve been following since early November I think. I found your blog through someone else’s but I can’t remember who! (sorry
)
Okay, I tweeted and linked you here: http://roadbunner.blogspot.com/2011/02/year-of-marathon-in-review.html
Pick me! Pick me!!
I’ll travel to SF to run with all of you girlies! (or an hour behind you, but you know, ‘with’)
I’m not sure how I found your blog, but I do know you were one of my first about 2.5 years ago (wow, long ago!) when I started reading a select few non-stop. I started my blog not soon after, when I’d just finished up the C25k program. It’s amazing how both of our running / blogging / involvement / running-blogging-friendships have progressed in that time!
I’ve been following pretty recently for about 6 months or so, great blog!
I’m already signed up to do the SF half marathon, so not sure if I can win this giveaway or not, haha
I’ve been reading your blog for about a year. I think I found it via ChicRunner.
I also tweeted about this giveaway (@borntorun77). I ran the SF Half a few years ago. I would love to go back and do it again.
I also mentioned on my latest blog post.
I’d LOVE to enter the giveaway but have a wedding that weekend
The SF Marathon is definitely on my must do list though!
I have been following and reading your blog since the beginning. You were one of the first people to find my blog & thats when I started reading yours. It was just after you ran SFM and caught the running bug! I’m so thankful we have became friends & i’m so grateful to have you in my life.
I have been reading your blog for about a month. I found it through Skinny Runner. I really enjoy it.
I found your blog through Meals and Miles blogroll and have only been reading for a few days now but am loving it! I wish i was as fast as you, but this is really helpful for me!
i found your blog via a blog roll and have been following since i started running. you’re always so full of suggestions. knowledge. and great commentary! one of my faves out there! =) do i have to share with twitter?! i want to win!!
and i tweeted.
) *painfully*
i’ve been following for about 6 months – i think i found you through chicrunner.com, but not so sure. i would love an excuse to get to SF for a weekend!!
I just found your blog via @libbyruns! I live in the Bay Area & would love to do one of the halves!
I also tweeted about the contest. -@robeena
I don’t remember exactly how I found your blog. I think because I kept finding it over and over again from other blogs. I started reading it more regularly after your last marathon recap and after Page called you out as one of her favorites.
apparently i registered too early for this race…what a great giveaway!
i think it’s been at least a year since i’ve been following along – wow! definitely one of my fave blogs, too : ) i did the SF full this past year and LOVED it, and would love to do it again, although maybe one of the halfs this time around.
I have been following your blog for a few months now, my friend Tina turned me on to it. As you know i like to contribute! I would love to run the @sfmarathon, Plenty of time to train for it, but i would be coming from NY. Tossing my hat in the contest ring!
Best
i found your blog from amanda – fat waz here.
I have no clue how I found your blog! But, I have been reading it for 2 years I think!
Hi Aron! I’ve been reading your blog for a few months, but not quite sure where I found it… either you commented on another running blog (that’s how I’ve mostly found my faves), or Twitter recommended you
I’d love to run SF this year — I ran the 1st half in 2009 and will hopefully run the 2nd half this year. Thanks for your consideration!
P.S. I’m retweeting (@mstrishborja) and Facebook-liking!
I just started Tweeting (how much fun is that!) and discovered your blog that way. I LOVE reading running blogs so I am glad to have found you and I look forward to following you. I have read about plenty of these blog-based contests, but I have never entered one…until now! I have run 20 half marathons and I am looking for the perfect marathon to be my 1st. The SF Marathon looks AMAZING! However, this Texan will have to do some serious hill training!
I found your blog from SUAR. I would love to run SF!
I also tweeted!
I have been following your blog for a long time! I live in NYC and have run 2 marathons (including NYC) but I am on the fence about signing up for San Fran. I have never visited the city and I really want to so I think adding a marathon to the experience would make it just that much better!
Just started reading the blog – I liked SF marathon on Facebook recently and have been reading everything they post. I ran SF last July, and nike in 09 and I fell in LOVE with SF. heading back this year maybe for both if I win the lottery for nike. I started to run to regain mobility in my foot after a horrible skydiving accident. 2.5 months of physical therapy did not give me a good range of motion and I was told the repetitive nature of running might , so an over weight pack a day smoker, started to run and I fell in love. I have never run anything shorter than a half and have finished 8 marathons. trying for a BQ, but I am not fast, its the distance that intrigue means… its never easy, but it feel good.
How fun! I’ve been following around 1.5 years, after finding you via chicrunner!
I was already planning to run this race, but would LOVE to win an entry and save some moohlah to pay for long beach (ran surf city last weekend, and would love to go for cal dreamin!).
I found your blog through the SF Marathon website. I am was following another blogger and read your ‘biography’ of entering a marathon with only 3 miles under your belt?! I have only been running for 6 months and can not wait for the challenge of SF. These past two months reading your blog have been inspiring. All the best to you.
I found your blog through a link on another blog and LOVE it! I have been reading it for a few months now and think its awesome
I have been looking for a good marathon to do in July, so this would be great!!
I came to your blog for the first time tonight from another running blog. I look forward to reading it. I’d LOVE to have this be my first marathon
Pick Me!!! I am so excited to be available to do the SFM this year!!
I found your blog summer of 2008 – Alisa told me she had been reading some running blogs and sent me some of her favorites. It was about the same time I was just really getting in to running to and I enjoyed reading about someone else just starting out too. Since I have really enjoyed seeing you grow as a runner and getting to know you better.
I just actually discovered your blog through another awesome blogger who I just recently had the honor of meeting. I love connecting with other like minded individuals and it’s fantastic when they are local to boot! So sweet of you to do a contest! I look forward to reading your future posts!
Hey Aron- Awesome blog– I know I’ve been here before in my web travels, but was alerted to the contest through the SF Marathon retweet. I ran SFM as my first marathon last year after a stress fracture moved me to the second half (my personal favorite half) the year before. I came within two minutes of a BQ, which was a pleasant surprise– and, if it helps my chances at winning- I’ll admit to being the woman who was quoted by the Chron as saying, “I didn’t pee my pants this time!” upon crossing the finishline.
Anyhow, your blog’s been added to my reader, you tweet has been re-twut on both my handles (@smurfcore and @fitlifesf) and I posted about the contest here: http://www.fitlifesf.com/2011/02/san-francisco-marathon-fever/
Cheers!
Btw, I posted about your giveaway on my blog. http://lisasepiphany.blogspot.com/2011/02/marathon-or-no-marathon.html
Winning this is just the incentive I need to get back into training mode!
if i win i will make sure i fly out for the race!
pick me pick me!
i don’t really remember how i found your blog… i would assume by clicking through various people’s blogrolls though! that’s what i used to do before i found 739284 blogs to read
i have been reading you for about 2-2.5 yrs now. yikes! old school
I found your blog through http://www.ericarunning30.com/2011/02/weekend-round-up-214.html
My dad wants to go to San Francisco to run this half marathon and I want to go run it with him.
I recently found your blog through the San Francisco Marathon facebook page. I really like the variety and practicality of your posts. It’s refreshing to hear someone fast enough to BQ talking about confusion over training plans and the torture of ice baths, as well as the fun race reviews, etc.
I found your blog from my sister. I would love to run San Francisco this summer. I am not crazy about hills so I want to run this as a challenge race to challenge myself. This would be my 3rd marathon. I have friends in the area and would love to make a trip out of it from Boston area to CA.
I found your blog from another blog (that I found from the S.F. marathon’s website last summer). I’m currently hoping to BQ (but got injured last summer) and loved reading your story about how you qualified – it gives me hope that it just might happen!!!
I found this from the SF Marathon page and I am so excited to be attempting my first in SF!!!
I’ve been following you on Twitter since you became the SF Marathon ambassador and never knew you had a blog until now
I’m still choosing between the full marathon & the 1st half, although I did the latter last year. Planning to decide which one to sign up for after my first full marathon in LA this March, but if I get lucky with your giveaway, then my problem is solved!
How I found you…On twitter, fb and your blog and any where else I can find to stalk you
I think it’s been about 2 years now that I have read you blog….. Always enjoy it and love your dogs
P.S. Want to run the Half and I am posting info on twitter and my SoloRunner FB page..
I found your blog after CIM 2009, when I also had a great (but chilly) race. It’s been great to read about your training plans and race reports!
i love this race as well! I’ve run the first half twice…i’ve often thought about running the full and the second half….maybe one day!!! I always hope for clouds and fog!!! And usually get it…but I’ve never won one of these giveaways…guess i can always hope!!
I found your blog through lululemons facebook and heard about it from you! Today is my first day reading it and I’m excited!
Just came across your blog through twitter … Your story sounds similar to mine (not a runner in hs, started getting into gym scene jr year of college, loooong 10 hr commute as well!) I recently did the Davis Stampede too! Wasn’t it too windy? I’d love to run the SF marathon, can’t get enough of the city. I’m in the South Bay and am eager to start reading about yor previous races in the Bay Area!
@treadmiLoL
I started following @runnersrambles on twitter (I would say it’s been at least 2 yrs now) and slowly managed to creep onto the runner’s rambles blog. I remember reading it when I first started marathon training & thinking how much hard work I was getting myself into. It inspired me to get my butt out there & do it & I’ve run 5 marathons since. Thank you for being an inspiration Aron! And thank you for giving away entries to the SF Marathon!
ps My absolute favorite post is “make yourself”
I’m not sure how long I’ve been following your blog. I know there was a night I was home and searching for some inspiration so I starting looking for runners blogs and came across yours. I’ve been hooked since I first found it. I also follow you on FB…Your positive attitude is contagious and helps me on days that I may not be feeling so motivated. Thank you! =)
I love your blog and started reading about a year ago, I think! But I totally went back and read all the older entries, too!
I’m a midwestern runner so your California runs give me a boost in the dreary winter months.
I started reading your blog over a year ago…maybe longer? I love reading your blog!
I just “Tweeted” (and I never Tweet) (:
I already “Like” Runner’s Rambles on FB!
I love SF! and would love to win this!
I’ve been following your blog for a few months. I live in the East Bay too, but on the Bay side. You could run over here in the summer – it’s cool and foggy most mornings. I ran the first 1/2 of the SF marathon last year and would love to run it again! Your blog is great
I would LOVE to make SF my first full!!! I live a hop, skip, and a jump away…this would be awesome!!!
I found your blog from the SF Marathon website & have been following for about a month!
And I tweeted the giveaway: twitter.com/dolphyngyrl/status/37912182251327488
I just started reading your blog and I am hooked! I have been running since 2007 and ran the full SF Marathon two years ago. I was supposed to run it last year and had trained for it but had been fighting an injury. I was there the day before, picked up all my stuff, had it all layer out for the next morning and then foam rolled before bed hoping my hip would loosen up. When I woke up the morning of the race I knew it would be disaster if I tried to run. I was devastated but I also knew that if I tried to run it would just be worse. So this year I want to redeem myself!! The first time running it was a struggle and I really want to do better this year! So excited for July 31st!!!
What an awesome giveaway. I found your blog through what I call the “running community” on twitter. I think its super informative and always a great read! I actually have yours linked to mine – he he.
I just found your blog through SFMarathon on twitter, and I can say I am now going to start reading (it is my favorite type of blog!) I am completely broke, and dying to run SF, but, sadly cannot afford it, so this would be awesome!
Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity! I came across your blog and FB site via Active.com as I’m now somewhat addicted to running. I ran my 1st marathon last year – Nike Women’s Marathon, but had a knee injury so my main goal to to finish rather than for time. I’d love the chance to run another marathon injury-free and since I live just across the Bay Bridge, I consider SFO my backyard. Thank you!
Hi! OMG This is awesome! I have been following you on twitter forawhile now. I think I randomly found you a couple of months ago when I was searching for other people who also love to run. I started running last year at my highest weight in hopes to loose weight for my wedding. My husband deployed soon after our wedding and I decided that I was going to kick this deployments a$% by training hard and running my first Marathon ever! Thanks for this opportunity.
Found your blog on the SF Marathon site. Ran the second half last year and had an amazing experience! Ran my first full 12/2010 Palm Beach marathon. Would like to have an opportunity to run SF Full! Thanks for doing this giveaway! Love your blog!
Hi Aron!
Been quietly following you only the past few months…I ran CIM 2010 (1st marathon) and was browsing the Internet looking for blogs and personal stories about running when I found your page. Kept coming back since you were also a CIM runner, and a Bay Area person – I live in Sacramento now but lived briefly in Alameda. Your blog has been very helpful and informative and interesting to read…there were so many “little” things that go into running and training that you’ve blogged about that I had no idea of!
Looking forward to reading more and hearing about your Boston experience…
I think I found your blog and twitter through the SF Ambassadors site? Can’t remember!
SF Marathon will be my first marathon!!
A free entry to a race would totally be reason enough for me to take a trip to San Fran. I’ve always wanted to go!
Plus OMG MEET UP!
My first time reading your blog. You have interesting insite on running the SF Marathon that other bloggers miss to share. Looking forward to reading more from you. I’m a local and SF is one of the most beautiful city to choose for your first or one hundredth race. I live in the Bay Area and have participated in training runs that include portions of the first and second half course. I’d love to win an entry to run this race for the first time and celebrate this amazing city. Thanks!
Am I too late to say, “Me too, me too!!” I’d love to run SFM!
I think I started reading your blog because of Jen’s blog. It’s one of those ones that’s pretty far back in my “Runners” folder in my blog bookmarks, so that means I started reading it a looong time ago. Funny how now we’ve met up several times and I live closer!
Great giveaway but I don’t think I can make it this year. N I know why it’s so great to be an ambassador.
