movie review: “running for my father”

a few (or maybe more… sorry again burger for being a slacker!) weeks ago burger asked me to review the dvdrunning for my father” and i wish i wouldn’t have waited so long.

not being a real movie buff, i tend to rate movies just by how they make me feel. running movies in particular, i tend to rate by how many tears i shed during them. well this one definitely gets high marks from me (as i wipe my eyes).

i don’t want to give the story away (because i think you all need to go get your own copy) but if you need a bit of inspiration to get yourself out the door, definitely watch this. cody’s dedication, determination, and passion are something we can all look up to and strive for. he has an amazing, touching story that i am so glad he shared with all of us.

congrats cody for an amazing journey and movie!! i know i will be looking back on this story and pulling from it during some future runs and races.
