at least…

our treadmill is getting used :)

i can’t remember the last time i used it (although i am sure there will be times soon if CA ever gets any rain), but my girls have gotten very good at it recently and actually seem to enjoy it. they jump on on their own, don’t have to be attached, and i turn on it and leave the room and they just trot away no problem.

Whoa, your dogs run better on a treadmill than I do (meaning they don’t fall off). Thanks for sharing the videos; they’re cute!

We’ve been planning a sneak attack to try just this at our apartment gym. If our pup can learn to like it, I think this is a winner!

  23. Mama Simmons January 14, 2009 at 10:30 am #

That’s awesome. I wish we could put our (getting fatter) dog on a treadmill. Since she’s afraid to walk by my bike trainer while I’m riding it, I’ll assume she’d be scared to death of getting on the treadmill!

  24. lifestudent January 14, 2009 at 10:37 am #

I wish we even had a treadmill for Wrigely to get on :) Especially this week when its SUBZERO in Chicago and she keeps going haywire from being cooped up.

  25. Vava January 14, 2009 at 10:44 am #

  27. tfh January 14, 2009 at 10:51 am #

Wow, I’ve never actually seen dogs just content to run on the TM like this! So sweet. I love how Kylie’s tongue is lolling (at first I thught she had a red ball in her mouth!) and Emma’s wagging tail.

  28. nwgdc January 14, 2009 at 10:57 am #

I think the key to their success is the tail wagging for balance. No WONDER I always ending leaning my way off of the darn things!

  29. Melanie January 14, 2009 at 11:08 am #

    LOL, that’s hysterical!

  30. J January 14, 2009 at 12:23 pm #

  32. seejessrun January 14, 2009 at 12:28 pm #

Nice, now you just have to take them outside to potty.

To answer your question about intervals: I do them on a long, flat road. It’s actually across a dam, so I get a lot of moonlight up there.

  33. Petraruns January 14, 2009 at 12:31 pm #

So cute! And I’m definitely not wagging my tail enough..

  34. The Running Knitter January 14, 2009 at 1:44 pm #
